In directing and choreographing Disney’s Descendants: The Musical, I aimed to blend a touch of medieval charm with a contemporary edge. I crafted high-energy, rousing dances and maintained a seamless, fluid flow, challenging the actors to keep the momentum without blackouts. Using dynamic entrance and exit blocking, I created a strong rhythm that carried the story forward. My goal was for the show to feel bright, a bit gritty, and, above all, packed with fun—infusing each moment with lively, engaging storytelling.
